Ceramics Exercise

One of the things we had to do as part of the CWC New Media Career Accelerator program was a session with ceramics.  I thought I would just sit there for two hours and drink some wine and maybe make a plate or a planter.  Turns out these were group exercises where we had to do such things as build something with a partner without being able to communicate verbally what we were doing.  Another exercise had us work on a project for a very short time (5 minutes) then have to switch with the group next to us.  We switched numerous times and then got to see what ultimately happened with our original idea.  It was a great exercise in self-discovery and how people interpret things differently.

 

Learning so much at CWC New Media Career Accelerator

This program is fantastic.  I’m learning so much.  Now I have my own blog.  I’m not sure how often I will post because I was never good at keeping a journal.
